Below, you’ll find answers to the most common questions we hear from patients here in Bend and across Central Oregon, so you can feel informed, prepared, and confident as you begin your mental health journey.

Appointments & Scheduling
-
We offer convenient appointment options, including telehealth, to make care accessible and flexible for your lifestyle. If you're looking for a team that adapts to your needs while focusing on personalized care, we’re here to help.
-
To help us provide timely and consistent psychiatric care to all patients, we have a strict no-show and late cancellation policy in place.
A $100 flat fee will be charged for:
No-shows (missing an appointment without notice)
Late cancellations (canceling with less than 24 hours' notice)
Reminder: If your appointment is on a Monday, please contact us over the weekend through the patient portal or by leaving a voicemail. Canceling on Monday morning will still result in the $100 fee.
Late Arrival Policy:
If you are late for your appointment, the following rules apply:More than 10 minutes late for a 25-minute appointment
More than 15 minutes late for a 50-minute appointment
Both scenarios are considered no-shows and will result in the $100 fee and a need to reschedule.
We enforce these policies to ensure that all patients have access to appointments and that provider schedules remain on time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
-
We’re happy to support your mental health care needs, including through scheduled phone calls. However, to ensure quality care and protect provider time, all phone calls must be scheduled in advance. While we’ll do our best to accommodate you, same-day calls are not guaranteed.
Please note the following:
Phone calls are not billable to insurance.
If the phone call involves medical decision-making, such as changes to your treatment or medication, a fee will apply.
Phone Consultation Rates:
$75 per 15 minutes
If you would like to request a call, please message your provider through the patient portal or contact the office to arrange a time.
Insurance & Payment
-
Most insurance plans do cover mental health and psychiatric care, but coverage details can vary by plan. Many require a co-payment and may have specific restrictions, such as visit limits or pre-authorization requirements. That’s why it’s always a good idea to check directly with your insurance provider before starting care.
