Molly Torvik, FNP, PMHNP-BC

Hi! I’m Molly Torvik, a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, committed to providing compassionate and personalized care. My passion lies in supporting individuals on their journey toward health and wellness, creating a therapeutic environment where they feel safe, heard, and empowered to achieve their goals. I believe in the power of building genuine connections with my clients, offering a non-judgmental space where their unique experiences and needs are validated. My approach focuses on collaboration and trust, fostering a path to healing and resilience.

My expertise spans a wide range of health and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and dementia care. I have experience working in diverse clinical settings, including family practice, telemedicine, and mental health care. This variety has deepened my understanding of the intersection between physical and mental health and reinforced my commitment to addressing the whole person in care. My passion for mental health care began during my time as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where I witnessed the profound impact mental wellness has on overall quality of life. This inspired me to pursue advanced training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to better serve those in need.

In my practice, I prioritize a holistic approach that integrates evidence-based pharmacological treatments with therapeutic strategies tailored to each individual. Whether through managing medications, exploring coping mechanisms, or offering guidance, my goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to take charge of their mental health. I firmly believe that every person has the capacity for growth, transformation, and healing, and I am dedicated to helping my clients unlock their full potential.

I relocated to Bend, Oregon, in 2013, drawn by its natural beauty and strong sense of community. Originally from Minnesota, I’ve embraced the adventurous spirit of Central Oregon and found it to be the perfect place to live, work, and thrive. Outside of my professional life, you can find me exploring the outdoors through mountain biking, skate skiing, or adventuring with my family. These activities ground me and inspire me to bring energy and enthusiasm to my work.

I am thrilled to bring my skills and passion to Canyon Behavioral Health, collaborating with a dedicated team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. My mission is to provide care that fosters hope, resilience, and lasting positive change, ensuring every individual feels supported on their journey to wellness.
