Managing different platforms for your care can be challenging. We're here to simplify things for you! This email explains how MYIO and Spruce work together to make your care experience better and easier to manage.
MYIO Patient Portal
Using the MYIO Patient Portal ensures a seamless experience in managing your healthcare needs. From scheduling to billing, MYIO offers a convenient and secure way to stay connected with your care team. Whether you’re at home or on the go, MYIO helps you take control of your health journey.
View and Schedule Appointments: Check your upcoming appointments and request new ones.
Manage Billing: View account balances, securely make payments, and update your card on file.
Update Information: Keep your address, email, insurance details, and other personal information current.
Access Forms: Complete any necessary forms required for your care.
Please note: Messaging your provider is not supported through MYIO.

Spruce Messaging Platform
Spruce is the platform we use for secure communication and telehealth appointments. It allows you to:
Message Your Provider Directly: Communicate with your provider or the front desk for assistance.
Request Refills: Submit medication refill requests conveniently.
Telehealth Appointments: Participate in virtual visits through Spruce.
Securely Send Attachments: Share documents, such as pictures of your insurance card, or a neuropsychological evaluation from another provider.
Why We Use Spruce for Telehealth
Unfortunately, the MYIO telehealth portal had technical issues that prevented patients from seeing or hearing their providers during virtual visits. To ensure reliable telehealth services, we made the switch to Spruce, which offers a seamless and secure experience.
Here’s what you need for telehealth appointments:
Device: A smartphone with video/audio capability or a computer with a webcam.
Browser Compatibility: If using a computer, access Spruce via Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox.
App Access: Open the Spruce App at the time of your appointment to connect with your provider.
Permissions: Allow audio and video access when prompted.
Stay in the App: Do not exit the Spruce App during your telehealth appointment. If you exit the app, you will not receive the call from your provider to accept.
Joining the Call: Click the Green Button in the app to join your provider’s call and wait to connect.
